Maxime Devos, 34 years old - living in Ghent, Belgium.
After working as a digital designer for 6 years, I made the switch to motion design.
I’ve been building up experience for 4 years now. And since I’m always eager to take on new challenges, I started working as a freelancer full time in January 2022.
What did I do as a digital designer?
I got to be creative with graphic design using different programs.
Illustrations for websites or presentations, webdesign, logo design and social media content were part of my daily routine. When I decided to jump into motion design, I had a good design foundation, which I'm still grateful for.
My experience as a motion designer?
After getting the chance to learn a lot about motion design as an employee at a visual agency for 4 years, I felt confident enough to start on my own. I’ve been working for different companies and taking on fun challenges ever since.
